This is a luscious wine that has all the magic of great Pinot Noir. Its bouquet is hauntingly complex with hints of violets and
damp forest floor. It caresses the mouth with a delightful mix of tenderness and depth.The grapes come entirely from our dry-farmed,
2 acre vineyard in Bonny Doon, which lies on a sandy mountain slope at 1,800 feet elevation and about 5 miles from the ocean. We
picked on September 14 at 23.9 degrees Brix, 0.8 total acidity, and 3.4 pH. The wine rested for nearly two years in 60 gallon French
oak barrels.
There are only 330 cases. $34 per bottle, $360 per case, Alc. 13.9% by volume.

We are delighted to present the 2012 Estate Swan Clone Pinot Noir. It is extraordinarily delicious. The perfume is wonderfully
complex with notes of blackberries, violets, and damp forest. The luscious feel in the mouth is a pleasing balance of softness
and richness. The finish lingers beautifully. The grapes are from a small block of our dry-farmed, 2 acre vineyard derived from
cuttings that ultimately came from Joe Swan's vineyard in the Russian River Valley. We picked on September 14 at 24.0 degrees Brix,
0.8 total acidity, and 3.2 pH. The wine aged in 60 gallon French oak barrels for nearly two years.
There are only 96 cases. $40 per bottle, $432 per case, Alc. 13.8% by volume.
